reuse part of organic waste generated by other production chains

Manufacture and sell fish feed from local raw materials, reusing part of the organic waste generated by other production chains and providing small family farmers with access to a product at a competitive price. This is the objective of Ração +, created by Ronaldo Santana de Almeida in Presidente Figueiredo, Amazonas, in 2014. The public of interest is the small low-income producer in the region.

The company already has production and market experience, and is currently in the process of restructuring, seeking to acquire machinery, facilities, working capital and legal and environmental regularization. The focus for supply is the Metropolitan Region of Manaus.

“Feed reaches 80% of the cost of fish production, and our goal is to provide the use of more natural products, reducing production costs between 15% and 20% and adding good materials that are discarded in the garbage (by other production chains). The high protein bag is sold by the competition for R$ 130, and mine goes for R$ 90", says Ronaldo Santana de Almeida.
