To boost the macauba production chain as a source of sustainable vegetable oils and restore degraded landscapes in the Amazon.

To generate an alternative to soybean and palm oil, leveraging the macauba production chain as a source of sustainable vegetable oils. This is the objective of the Amazônia subsidiary, which does this by utilizing pastures used by Brazilian ranchers and aims to plant 20,000 hectares of macauba in a silvopastoral system in Pará, in partnership with small producers, by 2032.

After harvesting, macaúba fruits are used 100% and deliver five products: pulp oil, comparable to palm oil; almond oil, comparable to palm kernel oil; pulp pie, which can be used for animal feed; endocarp granulate, raw material for high value granulate or activated carbon; and almond pie, which can be used for animal feed. In addition to the carbon credits generated with the planting of palm trees.
