PPA Acceleration Program receives support from volunteer mentors

Entrepreneurs from the 2020 class of the Partners for the Amazon Platform Acceleration Program (PPA) will start, in the coming weeks, mentoring processes tailored to their businesses.

The Program promoted a call to professionals interested in offering voluntary mentoring to entrepreneurs in the areas of finance, marketing, sales strategies, production operational management, financial management, governance model for cooperatives, product development, methodology for developing relationships with communities locations, business modeling, commercial strategy, mobile app design, team management and e-commerce. The areas were defined with the entrepreneurs themselves, in line with the individual needs of each business.

The call received 106 entries from high-level professionals with training and expertise in business administration, marketing, engineering, finance, environmental management, accounting, economics, law, forestry, agronomy and design, from 18 Brazilian states and three others countries.

Of these, 16 were selected to interact with the businesses, meeting all areas of demand from entrepreneurs. The professionals who signed up for the call came with experiences in entrepreneurship, impactful business and mentoring.

The offer of individualized mentoring is part of the acceleration package offered to these entrepreneurs, who face an extremely challenging period for the development of their businesses, which were heavily affected amidst the crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
